The Racing Post is the most visited racing website in the UK. It combines form and analysis with news, bloodstock sales and an integrated betting service. Through their link with Racing UK, they provide live streamed racing and an archive of racing videos from the top tracks, albeit available at a price. As you would expect from the only daily newspaper dedicated to racing in the UK they have well constructed pages covering almost all aspects of horse and greyhound racing. An essential racing resource. New site launched December 2009 and prone to delays and crashing.

The Sporting Life website is one of the leading informative sports sites. It has all the latest information for all types of sports and all done to the very highest standard. The racing section, originally set up by the ex-Sporting life newspaper people is fast and information rich. A good starting point site for any racing enthusiast.

The Attheraces website is an up-and-coming racing portal which is very similar to its nemesis, the Racing Post. The site has many great features such as racecards, results, betting features, tips and live/and or replays of races along with many more fantastic features. The free race video replays are a must for serious racing fans.

This racing portal involves all the Scottish racecourses who have come together to create an interesting site which provides fixtures for all Scottish tracks, jobs within racing, racing breaks and plenty more. A must for Scottish punters but it may all be a bit superfluous for the rest of the country.

This is an up-and-coming website that perhaps doesn't get the credit it deserves, hidden behind the larger Atttheraces, Racing Post and Sporting Life websites. Its layout and information makes the site a fairly impressive racing portal for the racing enthusiast. The site is in partnership with the Towcester racecourse and Betab websites. Worth a look, although their one drawback is their incessant requests for you to register for every element of the service, specifically their premium rate offerings.
