WBX, or World Betting Exchange, was a late entrant to the exchange marketplace, and despite some early liquidity issues the site does manage to create decent enough markets on daily UK horseracing. Layout is similar to other exchanges although they seem to be fit less to a page when viewing races. Commission rates of 5% on winning bets. A viable option if you are hunting around for some value.

BETDAQ |

BETDAQ are snapping at the heels of Betfair, and are a few years behind the leaders. However, they only offer the same commission rates and whilst over the last year their fluidity of markets has improved radically, they lack a little depth to their service. A simpler approach to the exchange is taken, rather than the 'busy' look of Betfair, but virtually the same layout is adopted. There are no free bets for joining here.

Betfair started a betting revolution over five years ago, and has grown into the biggest and most widely trusted betting exchange. They continue to provide a high standard of service, with high fluidity in very diverse and sometimes niche markets. Their racing service is probably the best around, attracting the lions share of the online betting market. A vast website which is easy to use and also contains practical demonstrations on how to start betting through the exchange.

Bet Bull |

Probably the largest European exchange, Betbull provides UK horseracing amongst its markets and trades in Euros as its primary currency. The layout is very much the same as Betfair, but for the euro zone audience there is more emphasis on mainland europe sports. Liquidity in the win markets is okay, but the place markets suffer in small track horseraces.

Ibetx is one of the newest Exchanges, and offers a full range of markets including Uk, Irish and US horseracing. Backers and layers benefit from the lowest commission rates available in the UK - of only 3% or below. There are free bets when you sign up and alhtough they take a slightly different layout to the others, their betting platform is easy to get around. A decent player, with fairly fluid markets - worth a look.
