Content Policy
 

In order to maintain the highest quality in all of our reviews, articles and comments, we adhere to a strict content policy.

When visitors or authors register any content to the Racing 100 website it will not immediately be added to the public area of the site.  The posting will be verified for ownership and then potentially modified before being approved - then finally displayed on the website.  We have the right to refuse to publish any content outright if it is not of high enough quality.

Racing100 is NOT a forum.  Visitors contributions are not automatically added to the site without being verified and approved.  Approval is based on the following criteria:

1. Quality
Any posting received will be checked for spelling, punctuation and use of written English.  Spellings and punctuation will be corrected prior to publication and do not constitute a reason for rejecting.  However, if the piece is unable to be read clearly it will be rejected. 

The writing must be clear and incisive. Content which is confusing, of questionable value or expresses unsubstantiated or spurious claims will be rejected. 

2.  Language and Interpretation
All defamatory language will render the content unsuitable for publication.  References to any website's services, good or bad, must be succinct.  Derogatory comments regarding sites or services must be backed up with examples of how the service failed to live up to expectation.  Positive feedback or glowing reviews must also provide a basis for the writers view.  Webmasters found to be contributing flattering reviews or comments regarding their own websites will have all their sites barred from Racing100.    

3.  Relevance
Content of any submission must be relevant to the website, article or news item being reviewed.

4. Ownership of Content
Content must be original and the work of the individual submitting the piece.  Any content found to be copied from other authors or websites which is not their own work will be rejected and the Author immediately barred from submitting further content.

5. Acceptance
Content will be assessed by a reviewer from Racing100.  We reserve the right to refuse content. If an Author receives a refusal Racing100 will always offer the chance for the Author to re-submit the content.  On some occasions the content will be edited by the Racing100 reviewer prior to acceptance.

6.  Earnings from Content
Authors can earn horseracing benefits and rewards for submitting content to Racing100.  Earnings are only available for approved content.  Racing100's decision on content is final and we will not enter into correspondence regarding rejected content.

All content submitted to Racing100 will be reviewed and either accepted or declined within 72 hours.
